A recent customer needed those benefits and asked us to manufacture a reusable stainless steel filter with the following requirements:
Our team quickly got to work designing an SS 200 micron filter with flanges on both ends. We engineered the filter media with a Dutch Weave, which doesn’t have much structural integrity, so we used a large-diameter, high-percent, open-area perforated inner cylinder to add support.
The I.D. of the flanges correlated to the I.D. of their current filter, making for an easy “Plug & Play” installation.
By switching to our SS filter, the customer was able to backwash their filters, which in turn increased filter lifespan and reduced the cost of filter replacements over the machine’s lifetime.
