Filter Stamping Configurations

Anrod Screen Cylinder Co. offers a wide variety of filter stampings in various forms to meet all of your stamped filter needs.

Top Hat Design

This configuration is optimized to retain the component via the flat interface, while enhancing filtration efficiency through an expanded surface area provided by the dimple feature. The dimple geometry may be specified as either spherical (as illustrated) or conical, based on application-specific performance requirements.

Reverse Cup Design

Specifically engineered for press-fit installation into a bore, this design utilizes integral legs for mechanical retention. The centrally located dimple increases the available filter surface area, improving flow characteristics while maintaining a compact form factor.

Trough or Irregular-Shaped Cup

These screens are custom-engineered to conform to non-standard bore geometries, including rectangular, square, kidney-shaped, or other complex profiles. If the bore can be manufactured, we can help you design a corresponding screen to achieve a precise and functional fit.

Pleated Stampings

These are non-drawn, flat stampings, typically in disc or rectangular form, engineered with pleats to substantially increase filtration surface area without enlarging the part's footprint. The outer rim is typically coined flat to enable secure retention, though this feature can be modified or omitted based on assembly requirements.
